Off My NFL Rants (temporarily)

Well,well,well,
Yes I am today, with many thanks for the beginning of a new group stemming from the Mindfulness Group completed last week. The practice of mindfulness is,to me, the ability to adress anxiety and depression from different directions other than most that I had been employing. This practice has turned into a variety of tools that I can use, like taking that sacred pause whenever I can to bring order to my thoughts and emotions.I also practice breathing techniques to curb "Monkey Brain" and the usual chaos that my thoughts can create.
I am also finding that with all of these techniques,my artwork has become much more focused, therefore allowing me to employ many different skills.Skills that enable me to create and merchandise more effectively,so that my dream of becoming self supporting hovers even closer.

'Tis The Season

I really love NFL football.Yesterday my Ravens did not play a stellar game,but a W is a W.Seriously-2 interceptions from T.J.Y. for scores-can we say silver platter?20-13 is a bit close,but acceptable.
Now the trip begins with a quick stop in Foxboro, then on to Indianapolis.Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh.
And back in the studio, pardon my NFLing,I have three projects to work on.2 weavings 1/2 finished, and 1 mixed media on which I am stalling on.So back to work on the art side of my mind. Soon I will post the results

Poor Tim Tebow

What a train wreck, although anticipated, were the Denver Broncos @ New England Patriots last night.
At the very least, hope that Tim Tebow learned a whole bunch of cool new moves that he can practice on for the next 6 months no matter who his new team may be.45-10 seriously?
The NFC game yesterday was more fun to watch and not quite so sad.Alex Smith definitely earned his MILLION DOLLAR BONUS,now didn't he?I am glad that Vernon Davis took the winning touchdown in at the last 9 seconds.Brady(although not a huge fan)deserves a lot of respect-6 touchdown passes,5 in the first half.I am in awe of that stat.See you next week,Patriots, after we crush some Texans' asses. Purple jerseys wreaking havoc relentlessly.Think I can cram some more Baltimore Ravenisms? Purple Reign!
